"I stopped in late (8 pm) on a weekday night and was able to get a tasty Reuben sandwich and tater tots. There was only one other group of diners in the restaurant at the time. Service was good and prices were reasonable. I would visit again if ever in the area."

"After a long morning of repair work after the flash floods, I really needed somewhere comfortable clean where I could eat and of the few places available this one grab my attention to most because I haven't had catfish in a long time so plus it had this vibe admitting from the street That welcome me to come in. I must say that it just felt fresh, but it needed a little bit more of ambience like maybe some country music or something or maybe a television to kind of dissipate conversation from table to table. I think that would've been helpful and would add more Life into the atmosphere. The two lovely ladies working together, seem to be able to handle the task with the smile, but also comfortable in their job and that reflected in the food and the hospitality that they offered thank you and hope to be back again"

"I decided that once I wrapped up work today, I was done just driving past this place. I've been visiting this town for years, and almost every time, my customer assumes that because I'm Mexican, I want to eat at the local Mexican joint. Not today. I told him I had other plans. This restaurant caught my attention thanks to its daily special--the catfish. I haven't had catfish in a while, and just the thought of it pulled me in. Even from a distance, there was an energy about the place--like something was happening. That feeling only grew stronger as I walked in. Before I could even take a full step through the door, someone called out, "Seat anywhere you want, hun!" I smiled and replied, "Yes, ma'am." I chose a table with a good view of the dining area. I like to watch how a place runs, see the rhythm behind the service. It didn't take long to figure it out--two ladies were running the floor, and running it well. But they weren't just serving customers; they were chatting, laughing, connecting. These weren't just patrons--they were friends. That's when it hit me: this is what small-town life is all about. Your neighbors are your customers, and your customers are your friends. That can be a blessing... or a curse. But ultimately, that depends on you. You make the choice. I'm not a local, but I've been coming here once or twice a month for the last eight years--so I guess I kinda belong here, hehehe. My drink and menu came quickly. The vibe inside was chill and relaxed, and I found myself starting to unwind. I almost forgot I was there to make observations. But then something clicked: there was no music. None. It was quiet enough that I could hear conversations from across the room. That's when I thought--this place could really use a couple of flat screens and some country music in the background. Not too loud, not too soft--just enough to add some life and give people a little privacy. After ordering the catfish special, I made a quick trip to the restroom. They're located in the back. They were fine--not bad--but the design didn't match the warm, vibrant feel of the dining area. I found myself wondering what happened there... but oh well. By the time I returned, my food was already waiting for me. The portion size was perfect--not too big, not too small. Just right for lunch. The catfish? Tasty. Maybe just a touch overcooked--15 seconds less in the fryer and it would've been perfect--but still really good. I enjoyed every bite and soaked in the peaceful atmosphere. But seriously... play some music or something, hehehe. Thank you for what you're offering to this community. I truly appreciated the meal and the experience--and I hope to be back soon!"

"We were just passing through and stopped for lunch seeking a local family restaurant. Ruger's Grill offered a Wednesday special of Southern Catfish with fries and coleslaw. It was absolutely delicious, fresh, and cooked to perfection! We will definitely recommend Ruger's Grill!"

"Ruger's gets a 5 star rating! We don't find many of those! We stopped in on our way back to Arkansas. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly...I loved the decor. The staff was friendly, prompt, and helpful (I had questions about some of the food options). Now the food was delicious! I had the triple club with sweet potato fries and my husband had the open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes. We tried their blackberry cobbler-yum! The prices were on point! What topped off the already 5 star rating was the clean restroom. Ruger's has a good thing going!"

"Cute little place with GOOD FOOD! I have had both the hamburger steak and chicken fried steak they were both delicious. My husband really enjoyed his open face roast beef sandwich. I highly recommend the onion rings and the macaroni and cheese for one of your sides. The mash potatoes are nothing special but they are good with gravy. Potatoes skins are tasty for a starter. Staff was friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next visit!"
